Varicose Veins of the Groin

Pregnancy is an amazing journey for most women, but it is also the time when they notice the most changes happening within their body.

There is increased demand by the growing fetus giving rise to dilatation or expansion of the major blood vessels in the body.

Some women can have engorged veins in their pelvis leading to painful and very prominent bulging veins in their vulva.

The good news is that most of them settle after delivery but for a small proportion of women they can persist and be very bothersome.

The great news is that they can be treated without any major surgery.
