Varicose veins in the Groin

If you notice veins in your groin region during pregnancy, you are not alone.

They can be quite painful but thankfully most will settle after delivery and may not cause any further issues.

For some however, they can remain and become painful and even hard.

They are often worse during menses and can affect the overall quality of life in the way of heaviness, aching and even the unsightliness of the bulging.+

These are known as vulval veins or pelvic veins as they are not from your leg veins, but come from higher up in your pelvis. The good news is that they can be treated once we have identified the source.
