Cramping and Varicose Veins

The usual culprits with varicose veins are heaviness, aching and swelling.

However a symptom that often gets missed with varicose veins is cramping.

This can occur at the end of the day or even at  night. I have seen countless patients that have been on magnesium drinks and massage therapies to help with the cramping.

Cramping can be caused by many reasons including being related to restless leg syndrome, muscle related, other medical conditions and even nerve issues. If you have varicose veins and cramping there could be a very high possibility it may be your veins causing the symptoms.
